As the environment suffers more from CO2 and particle pollutants
emissions throughout the world, several initiatives started, Alerting and asking problem countries to lower
emissions damaging the air and affecting the atmosphere and causes global
warming, nature and human health diseases before it put an end for people to
live in this earth.
It was 1828 when the 1st small model electronic car
invented and had a large development since to nowadays. Electrical vehicles
(EV) has three different types, the 1st is the ones that are
directly powered with an external power station like high speed rail trains
that runs on electrical roads, the 2nd are who depends on an
electrical generator and a combustion engine like a Hybrid or a hydrogen fuel
cell, and the 3rd which is powered by storing the electricity to be
used after being charged. The main four types of electrical cars are:
Hybrid electrical Vehicles (HEV), the electrical propulsion
system works with the internal combustion engine as to assist in more fuel
economy than the regular gasoline cars with less pollutants and extra boost. Some
types run on zero emissions at lower speeds below 40 m/h and after that, the
combustion engine takes over. The battery recharged by the gasoline engine and
regenerative braking.
Plug in Hybrid Electronic Vehicle (PHEV), this has more
fuel efficiency than the Hybrid because its larger rechargeable battery that
store more electricity to back up the combustion engine which can be charged by
an electrical power plug source. It takes less recharge time due its large
battery.
Battery Electrical vehicles (BEV), it does not have a
combustion engine, so the motor works on pure rechargeable batteries that
depend on external power source to be charge it. It gives a mileage range of
100-200 and need to be charged quickly for longer trips. It is zero emissions
and preferable for public, work or home charging options.
Extended range Electrical Vehicles (ER-EV), the combustion
engine main use is to power the generator, which charges the battery that in
return powers the motor.in other words, the combustion engine charged the
battery only.
Other smaller electrical vehicles have a maximum of 25 m/h,
which can be used in neighbor trips due to its lower speeds but can serve quite
well in small communities and gold fields like mini golf carts.
For each day, electrical vehicles are getting more popular
than ever while the climate and health awareness is arisen to the public and
more EV are still underdevelopment to achieve a more efficient and low emission
vehicles to safe out green environment.
